Dash-Cam Catches Driver Calmly Rampaging Through a Mall
Ever since the 1980 comedy The Blues Brothers, just about everyone who's ever driven a car has fantasized about taking a destructive joyride through a mall. But a man in Hangzhou, China let his intrusive thoughts win and really did it.
As filmed by his dash-cam, the man calmly swerved off the road and through the mall's front doors, taking special care not to hit any pedestrians. Picking the Huawei mobile phone franchise store as his main target, he rammed through the display glass and into tables of phones. "I'd be upset too if I'd missed my appointment at the Genius Bar," one person joked.
Earlier this year, Canadian thieves used an Audi sedan to break into a mall and steal jewelry, but this driver was both calmer and more destructive. "This is the most gentle and courteous car crashing into a mall I’ve ever seen," one person commented. But in reality, the situation was anything but. According to SOHU, the man reached his mental breaking point and snapped, after failures in business. At least he got to cash in every driver's once-in-a-lifetime token to trash a mall.
